Michaela is great! Everything went smoothly. It is very true that missionary life is pretty surprising. I often try and imagine what else is going to happen but I am never even close. Always something new. It is amazing that I can be doing pretty much the same thing everyday but everyday is always different. The sisters just asked to borrow my camera and I said yes. I have gotten a lot better at sharing on the mission. If anyone asks me for anything of mine, I pretty much just give it too them no questions asked. Sometimes I don't get it back. Sometimes I do. It is part of the culture in the islands and NZ so I think I have just become accustomed to it. It is hard to explain it is just like the next level up of sharing. Man it is amazing that that guy can still snowshoe into his cabin. One year we might just find him dead. It is good that Kaden cares about school that will help him but I hope he is having a lot of fun as well sounds like he has a hard schedule.
This week:
This week was a great week. I am not sure If I mentioned it before but we had been planning our zone p-day for a few weeks and last Monday we finally had it. It was awesome! It was a star wars LARP (Live Action Role Play) Essentially we all dressed up as star wars characters, got the star wars sound track, set up a series of games based on scenes from the movies including choreographed light saber battles, pod racing, and the trash compactor; and of course had Nerf and light saber battles to finish it. It was one of the best p-days of the mission so far. It was a success. My favorite was probably the fight scenes, it was crack up, unfortunately I wasn't in any of them because I was running the games... Sometimes it sucks to be a leader :)
