It was a long week - not a lot is happening up North. I did see that we have 6 solid investigators right now and while I have been here we have found all of them. So the area has improved. This is transfer week and the whole mission is going to transfer meeting. Apparently there are some guest speakers from Time Out for Women. I don't know if I am coming back up to my area or not. I am pretty ready to leave. I want to restart with a new transfer but no news yet. Two elders are going to the Cooks this week so my next shot is in 3 months. Fingers crossed. It is pretty much the same here. Sounds like my letter was a hit. Reading about the wedding and everything kind of made me wish I was there - probably just a lot of standing around but still I bet it was fun. Elder B and I spent money on Thai food. The green curry was like 50 bucks so I didn't get any but I had a Pad Thai dish which was really good. I asked for it to be hot but it was probably like a level 2 at Chabaar. That was their hottest so it was a little disappointing but still good.
This week:
We have had some good times this week. Our Zone Leader Elder Reinen finished his mission so last p-day we did some pretty fun stuff with him. We went out to a look out point took some pictures, then hiked up to a waterfall, took some more pictures, and then went over the the Clements' house for breakfast burritos and sausage gravy with bread rolls (not biscuits because biscuits are what they call cookies here). It was really fun, and a pretty good P-day.
So a couple of weeks ago we left a drop off at the zone leaders flat, recently to build unity we have been doing drop offs to the sister's and the zone leaders asked us to do one and gave us permission to leave our area just so we could give them one. Shortly after they called us and gave us permission we ran over a possum on the road. We turned around and scooped it up and put it into a box and dropped it off. They didn't think it was that funny when they picked up the box because the juices had soaked through and it ripped open and fell on Elder Gerdes' feet. This week they decided to take revenge and when we got home there were a few clues that eventually led us to Elder B's bed and we found half a pig head just chillin' in the covers. It was pretty good and we are now even right before Elder Reined finished.
Love,
Elder Summers
