This week: This was a good week. I turned 20 so now I am officially not a teenager. I don't know if you remember how I made decisions before the mission but a big part of it was the belief that, because I was a teenager, I couldn't die. Now I have entered into mortality I have to be a lot better, and more careful. I have fallen. It was an awesome day! We started off with a surprise birthday at district meeting from the zone. I wore my America socks the whole day - to ball in the morning, then to the meeting, and then proselyting. We sang the national anthem and I made freedom jokes all day. It was cool. We then worked like normal and had a dinner with the YSA. They had a bunch of people come over and we had cake and ice cream. Then we had a lesson with Nate. Then the Elders from the zone had a sleep over surprise party with pizza and we played Nerf zombies later than we should have. I am not sure it was all allowed but we did and the assistants organized it for us. It was an awesome birthday. I feel so old. I am so glad to be on the mission. |
Love,
Elder Summers
